Brand owner/operator, Julie Bateman (Annie Asskicker), is a professional graphic designer and the owner of Bateman Design Group, a boutique creative agency located in Barrie, Ontario.
As a long distance runner for many years before joining a local roller derby league, Julie was often searching for activewear that suited her needs.
At 5'11" with a large frame, most brands weren't designed for her body type—so eventually she decided to design a few shirts ... and Asskicker Ink. was born.
