Join our November Virtual Fitness Challenge!

Join Julie Bateman, the founder of Asskicker Activewear and friends as we focus on function with a virtual fitness challenge that includes a daily routine of push-ups, squats, sit-ups or hiking, walking or running.

If you're looking for some motivation and group support, or simply want to get more active this month, this challenge is perfect for you! We start off easy and build up the reps while we get stronger throughout the month. 

Every day in November is a new chance to complete your challenge and and earn another chance to WIN prizes from Asskicker Activewear or Vicki Tree Yoga & Wellness.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

Did you know that doing squats, push-ups and sit-ups daily will strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, core and upper body strength, burn calories and more?

This month's FREE Fitness Challenge is based on functional fitness training—a type of workout geared explicitly toward better function when performing everyday tasks. These tasks might include putting a heavy object on a high shelf, bending to pick up something off the floor, or walking up and down stairs. Because functional movements mimic your everyday activities, you can perform functional strength training workouts frequently without concern for injury.

Functional training can an help develop stability in your muscles and your body, and improve the overall function of your body, boosting muscle strength and endurance.

  2. Take a pic of said activity.
  3. Post the pic in the Asskicker Army Facebook Group and tell us how you feel.
  4. Check the group and interact to get inspired!

MEET THE CHALLENGE ORGANIZER & SPONSOR

Julie, the founder of  Asskicker Activewear has created this challenge. She will be available in the Asskicker Army facebook group to answer any questions or provide modifications. 

Vicki Tree Yoga and Wellness is a wellness centre that provides a blissful “experience” of peace, calm and balance for individuals or corporate groups. The offerings include wellness classes, massages, workshops, corporate retreats, celebration of life, small gatherings and a variety of events.
